Financial investigations and litigation support

For law firms, insolvency practitioners, creditors and victims of fraud.

A judgment is only worth what can be enforced, and a claim is only as strong as its evidence. We work alongside lawyers, insolvency practitioners and creditors to trace money, locate people and establish facts that hold up in court.

Much of this work crosses borders. We follow assets into other jurisdictions with our partners on the ground, and we coordinate every step with your legal team so that the evidence remains usable.

Financial investigations and asset tracing

We follow the money and bring to light assets that were meant to stay hidden, including across borders.

  • Asset and real-estate searches
  • Offshore companies and nominee structures
  • Support for enforcement and insolvency proceedings

Litigation support

We gather facts and evidence for civil, employment, family and criminal proceedings, in coordination with your lawyers.

  • Investigation reports prepared for use in court
  • Tracing witnesses and addresses
  • Investigator testimony in court

Fraud and economic crime

In investment, purchase and advance-fee fraud, we establish who is behind it and what can be recovered.

  • Identifying perpetrators and structures
  • Case files prepared for criminal complaints and civil claims

Tracing people

We locate debtors, heirs, witnesses and people with whom contact has been lost.

  • Debtors and opposing parties
  • Heir tracing
  • Missing relatives, in coordination with the authorities

Common questions

Can you find assets held in another country?

Often, yes. We work through public registries, court records and our partners in other European countries. What can be found depends on the jurisdiction, which is why we assess the prospects before you commit to a budget.

Will your report be accepted as evidence?

Our reports document sources, methods and dates so that they can be submitted in proceedings. Whether a court admits a specific piece of evidence is decided in the case itself; we work with your lawyers from the start to keep that risk low.

Do you work directly for law firms?

Yes. Many of our assignments come from lawyers acting for their clients. We can be instructed by the firm and report to it.
